About BYTE NEWS

BYTE NEWS is an automated newswire for crypto and financial markets. It reads the public RSS feeds of the crypto and financial trade press and of the SEC and CFTC press offices, groups the items that are covering the same event, and publishes a short original summary of each one as it happens. Stories that several outlets pick up get a longer synthesis across all of them. Everything smaller is rolled into the twice-daily Market Wrap.

The summaries are written with AI assistance from the linked source material, under human oversight. Nothing is copied from the sources: each story is written from their headlines and summaries, every claim is meant to trace back to an outlet named in the piece, and every story lists the reporting it is based on with a link to each one. Read the original when a story matters to you — the outlets did the reporting, and their pieces carry detail no summary keeps.

Automated summarization gets things wrong. Every story's numbers, dates and quantities are checked against its source material in code before it can go live, and one that trips a check is held for a person to read rather than published. That catches arithmetic, not judgement — a misread headline can still get through, and no one reads every clean story before it publishes. If something here looks wrong, the source links are in the story: they are the record, this is not.

BYTE NEWS is not a financial adviser and none of this is financial advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
