Crypto Markets Eye Wednesday's July CPI Report as Securitize, Gemini Prepare Earnings
The coming week’s calendar centers on the U.S. July Consumer Price Index report, due Wednesday, with earnings from Securitize and Gemini also on tap, according to CoinDesk.
Odds on the prediction market platform Kalshi, checked Monday, point to a tamer inflation reading and show little likelihood that July’s CPI will come in above economists' consensus estimate, according to CNBC.
Despite those calmer odds, JPMorgan has warned that stocks could see notable swings on Wednesday once the CPI figures are released, according to CNBC.
The report is being closely watched by crypto traders because it can move expectations for Federal Reserve policy, which in turn affects risk appetite across digital asset markets. Earnings from Securitize, a tokenization platform, and Gemini, the crypto exchange, will offer additional data points on how the industry is performing heading into the back half of the year, according to CoinDesk.

What the market did
Each figure is this site’s own reading, with what it was measured against. A blank is a reading nobody took, not a zero. The before-the-headline window prints the rate a RANDOM hour clears the same bar, because a hit rate without its null is not a finding.
