Bad actors with access to a cryptography-breaking quantum computer would probably avoid hacking high-profile Bitcoin wallets like those controlled by Satoshi Nakamoto, according to crypto executives cited by Cointelegraph. Instead, attackers would target lesser-known addresses to disguise their theft as ordinary key compromise and delay discovery of quantum capability.
