Circle, Ripple and Standard Chartered Back OKX in Funding Round at $25B Valuation
OKX has raised fresh capital at a Circle, Ripple and Standard Chartered Back OKX at Flat $25B Valuation.

The round is structured as an extension of a financing OKX closed in March, which was led by Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, according to Cointelegraph and The Defiant. That earlier round was also priced at $25 billion, meaning the new investors bought in at the same valuation ICE accepted seven months earlier, Decrypt reported.
New backers in this extension include Circle, Ripple and Standard Chartered’s SC Ventures arm, according to Decrypt, Cointelegraph and The Defiant. A London-based quantitative hedge fund, QRT, also joined the round, Decrypt and The Defiant reported.
CoinDesk reported that the investment comes as OKX pushes beyond its roots as a crypto exchange.
